Outside of my regular work responsibilties at Digital Seat, I was offered a freelance opportunity. The task was to transform my client's WordPress ideas and designs into a functional, responsive website using the Vue.js framework suitable for viewing on tablets and mobile devices.
Extrahands Mobile
Goal: Recreate my client's Wordpress website using Vue.js while enhancing its functionality,
aesthetics, structure, and organization.
Problem: The site was poorly designed, lacked organization, was not user friendly, and had
significant functionality issues. Additionally, its layout was not structured for compatibility with
tablets and mobile devices.
Solution: I structured the site to be user friendly, well organized, and visually appealing,
enabling my client to use it for his business. It's easy to navigate, fully functional, and has a
responsive design that's compatible across all devices.
Due to the tight deadline for this project, there wasn't enough time for multiple iterations of low and high-fidelity wireframe mock-ups, which typically would have been created in Figma and then prototyped. Fortunately, the initial layout was already completed in WordPress. My task was to recreate it in Vue.js while enhancing its functionality, aesthetics, structure, and organization.
